LotsSocial produces and schedules social media content across client accounts every day. Each post goes through research, drafting, review, scheduling, and publishing — all managed by AI agents running on LotsAgent.
This is not a demo. This is the production setup behind a live SaaS product.
If you are evaluating whether LotsAgent can handle real workloads, this walkthrough shows exactly how it does.
Agent Memory in Practice: Per-Account Brand Voice
Every LotsSocial account has its own brand voice — tone, vocabulary, posting style, audience preferences. The agents that draft content for each account need to know that context from the first interaction.
How it works:
Each account has dedicated agent memory stored in LotsAgent's persistent memory system. When a content agent picks up a new post request, it loads the account's memory context before writing a single line. The agent remembers:
- Preferred content formats and post lengths
- Audience engagement patterns
- Approved vocabulary and terminology
- Past content performance data
This is not a system prompt that needs rewriting per account. It is persistent, user-specific memory that survives across every execution. Each account's brand voice stays consistent without manual reconfiguration.
Before LotsAgent: Someone on the LotsSocial team would maintain brand voice documents per account and manually remind each workflow of the context. Memory makes that automatic.
The Tasks System: Scheduled Publishing at Scale
Social media runs on schedules. Content needs to post at specific times across different platforms and time zones.
LotsSocial uses LotsAgent's Tasks system with cron triggers to handle scheduling. The workflow is:
- A content agent drafts a post from the account's content brief
- The draft enters a review queue — human review for quality, automated checks for compliance
- Once approved, a scheduled task picks up the post at its assigned time
- The task publishes across the configured social channels
Each scheduled task is an agent execution that runs at the exact configured time. If a task fails (API rate limit, network timeout, platform outage), it retries from the failed step — not from the beginning. This is durable execution in practice, not just architecture.
Skills as Content Playbooks
LotsSocial doesn't write every post from scratch. Content strategies are packaged as reusable skills.
Each skill represents a content playbook:
- Thought leadership skill — creates posts that position the account owner as an industry voice. Citation patterns, opinion framing, thread structures.
- Product announcement skill — draft format for new features, launches, and updates. Feature highlights, benefit positioning, CTA patterns.
- Engagement skill — conversation starters, poll questions, community interaction templates.
These skills are built once through the Agent Builder and applied across any account that needs that content type. A new account gets access to the same content playbooks as established accounts — no rebuild required. Updates to a skill propagate to every account that uses it.
Durable Execution in Action: When Post Publishing Fails
A post scheduling workflow involves multiple steps:
- Format the content for each platform
- Upload media attachments
- Call the platform's publishing API
- Log the post in the analytics system
- Update the content calendar
If step 3 (platform API call) fails because of a temporary outage, the entire workflow could restart from the beginning — unless the platform checkpoints progress.
LotsAgent uses Inngest for durable execution. Every step in the publishing workflow is checkpointed. If the API call fails, the system retries from step 3, not from step 1. The post publishes once the API is available again, without duplicating the earlier steps.
For a product that publishes hundreds of posts per week, this is the difference between a recoverable blip and a cascading content failure.
Agent Improver: The Feedback Loop
Content agents analyze their own post performance and propose improvements to the content playbooks they use.
The cycle:
- A post publishes and gathers engagement data (likes, shares, clicks, comments)
- The Agent Improver analyzes which content patterns drive higher engagement
- It proposes updates to the relevant skill — adjust tone, try a different opening structure, change call-to-action placement
- The team reviews and approves the change
- All future posts using that skill inherit the improvement
This means LotsSocial's content strategy improves over time without someone manually auditing every post and updating playbooks by hand.
The Architecture Summary
| Capability | How LotsSocial Uses It |
|---|---|
| Persistent memory | Per-account brand voice context across all drafts |
| Tasks + cron | Scheduled publishing at platform-specific times |
| Skills | Reusable content playbooks applied across accounts |
| Durable execution | Reliable publishing with checkpointed retries |
| Agent Improver | Self-improving content strategy from performance data |
Why This Matters for Your Workflow
LotsSocial is a live product that runs on LotsAgent. The same infrastructure that manages hundreds of social media posts per week is available to you for your own workflows — whether they involve content, customer support, data processing, or any multi-step process that needs reliable automation.
If a social media scheduler can run on LotsAgent in production, so can your workflow.
FAQ
How much human review is involved in the LotsSocial pipeline?
Human review is configurable per workflow. Drafts go through automated quality checks, and sensitive operations (scheduling posts, publishing, account changes) require explicit human approval before execution. The team determines the review threshold per account and content type.
Can I build a similar pipeline for my own use case?
Yes. The same agent infrastructure — memory, tasks, skills, durable execution — is available on LotsAgent for any workflow you configure. You describe what you need in the Agent Builder; the platform handles the infrastructure.
What happens if an agent makes a wrong post?
Every action is logged with a full audit trail. You review scheduled content before it publishes, and you can configure approval gates at any step in the workflow. Nothing publishes without going through the configured review process.
